WHAT IS LOW-LEVEL LASER THERAPY?
Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is a nonsurgical treatment for men and women experiencing hair loss. These low level lasers do not emit sound or vibration, and unlike surgical lasers that either vaporize or burn tissue, low level lasers generate minimal heat and cause no tissue injury.
Low Level Laser Therapy is one of the most successful therapies to treat hair loss for both men and women. Hair loss physicians and medical experts agree that LLLT is a highly viable option for stabilizing hair loss.
Laser has been extremely successful for women experiencing ‘Female Pattern Hair Loss’. Unlike males who bald, females typically see a diffuse pattern of scalp hair loss. As long as there are miniaturized hairs present, there is a very good chance of reversing the miniaturization and stopping future hair loss. Laser therapy makes hair stronger and healthier.
As with most nonsurgical treatments for hair loss, Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) requires a specific protocol to achieve and maintain the improvements. Initially, patients were set-up on an ‘In Office’ 6-12 month program. Patients were required to visit the doctor’s office 2-3 times per week for their laser treatments. The inconvenience often caused patients to not follow the required laser therapy protocol, and therefore results were not achieved.
With the development of Advanced Low Level Laser Therapy technology, patients can now purchase a laser cap through our office, and achieve the same results as those using the In-Office Laser Units. These laser caps are Physician Grade Lasers. We are selling a product you can only buy from a doctor. In addition to the laser purchase, every patient is set-up with a ‘Personalized Laser Therapy Protocol’ to help insure maximum success during the laser therapy process.

Low Level Laser Therapy will not work on men or women whose hair loss has progressed to the point where there is smooth skin (baldness), and where no follicles or vellous hairs are present.
Candidates: Although women often make the best candidates for Low Level Laser Therapy Hair Restoration, men can benefit from LLLT as well. This type of laser hair therapy restores life to miniaturized, vellous hairs by increasing blood flow to the follicle and rescuing it from its final stages before it disappears forever.
Topical solutions or foams like Rogaine or Minoxidil are what people typically use to try and arrest their hair loss. These products do increase blood flow, however … they don’t get down to the root of the problem … the blood vessel that feeds the follicle.
This is what’s so exciting about laser therapy: Low level laser therapy works best because it gets to the root of the matter! The hair shaft of these vellous hairs, and others, will become thicker, and stronger. Once the health of these hairs is improved, they are more able to resist permanent hair loss.
At Home: We also offer Laser Caps for patients who want to enjoy the benefits of low level laser therapy in the convenience of their home or office. These devices offer low level laser therapy along with portability and convenience. Pricing of the cap is based on the number of lasers/diodes and the warranty of the device.
As mentioned, every laser therapy patient is given a customized protocol to help insure maximum success during the laser therapy process.
If you’ve already had a hair transplant, are you a candidate for laser therapy? The answer is YES. Low Level Laser Therapy will revitalize the thin, lifeless hair barely visible on your scalp.
Hair loss, for millions, is an unfortunate inevitability…However for most, it is also unnecessary and entirely preventable! Low Level Laser Therapy is both safe and effective. The Advanced Laser Caps we sell offer a revolutionary, in-home hair growth system that provides full scalp coverage. They are fully portable, simple to use and require no manual movement like laser combs.
